VAPOR BARRIER
A moisture-impervious layer applied to the surfaces enclosing a humid space to prevent moisture travel to a point where it may condense due to lower temperature.
Material used to retard the passage of vapor or moisture through walls and thus prevent condensation (process of changing water vapor gas to a water liquid) within the walls. It is also called a moisture barrier and is installed between insulation and the interior wall.
