EMT
Electrical Metallic Tubing- This electrical pipe, also called thin-wall conduit, may be used for both concealed and exposed areas. It is the most common type of raceway used in single family and low rise residential and commercial buildings. With proper joints and connections it my be installed in wet, as well as dry location. It is used because it is light, easy to handle, and requires no special threading tool. However it requires more skill to bend than rigid conduit.
